Ulysses S. Grant brought about a U.S. victory during the American Civil War and went on to serve two terms as the 18th president of the United States.  At the time of his death, he was regarded as a hero with a standing similar to that of George Washington or Abraham Lincoln.  What caused his reputation to decline and how should his legacy be viewed today?  Join us for this conversation with Dr. Joan Waugh, professor emeritus, UCLA. Moderated by Dr. Rob Havers, President and CEO, of the American Civil War Museum.
