"Nor Long Remembered": Unsung Battles in the Shenandoah Valley - Waynesboro VA

Many of the Civil War battles in the Valley are usually overshadowed by larger actions such as Third Winchester and Cedar Creek. But the fighting in those other battles had pivotal effects on the war in the Valley, and their own fascinating stories. This conference will look back at those battles and stories.

The conference will be held on Saturday, July 29, 2023, at the Best Western Plus in Waynesboro, Virginia, and will feature speakers Sarah Kay Bierle, Gary L. Ecelbarger, Hunter Lesser, Jonathan A. Noyalas, Scott C. Patchan, and Richard G. Williams. Cost: $30; $27 for SVBF members. Space will be limited, and pre-registration will be required. For more information: email info@svbf.net.
